Utah Dining
Utah is a unique place, from its diverse landscapes to its diverse people. Along with its diverse people comes diverse dining. may not be the thing Utah is most know for, however Utah cities have everything from sushi to Jamaican cuisine to fine seafood flown in fresh daily. Utah has grown immensely over the last 10 years and with the 2002 winter games came an abundance of new dining opportunities. If you are planning on visiting Utah's Temple Square , you will find many wonderful restaurants, all within walking distance, or a quick ride on a Utah TRAX Train. Temple Square actually has several fine restaurants within its boundaries. If those don’t satisfy your taste bud’s desires, then don’t forget a short TRAX ride would probably be free if you’re planning on staying in the down town Salt Lake City area to dine. If your planning on traveling throughout the state, enjoying the scenery and maybe taking in a hiking or mountain biking trip along the way, there are several small towns throughout the state that have great “mom and pop” style dinners. Take advantage of the small town hospitality these restaurants have to offer, after all it may not be everyday you get to experience those home cooked meals with hometown taste and style. Who knows you may just stumble upon that small town hidden gem. Fine Utah dining may also be experienced in one of the many resort towns scattered across Utah. St George Utah has everything from the larger food chain restaurants, to the locally owned and operated restaurants. Some other small resort towns, where you will be sure to find unique fine dining are, Park City Utah, Heber Utah, Springdale Utah, Alta Utah, Brian Head Utah and Sundance Utah just to name a few. Utah dining may not be the first thing you think of when you are planning your trip to Utah, but if you look around and you are willing to try new things, you may be pleasantly surprised at what you find.
